Emergency and Exit Lights

mergency lights.
Battery powered emergency and exit lights are designed to illuminate a building's means of egress in the event of a power outage. They are designed to last anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours. There are three common tests that are required for these fixtures:
- Once a month a push button test is performed.
- Every six months the a/c power is turned off and the fixture operates on battery power for a period of forty-five minutes. A battery with 80% power remaining after the elapsed is required.
- Once every twelve months the above test is done, but the time period is increased to ninety minutes.
